- Burial/Cremation
- Formulation of death announcement
- Choice of coffin
- Choice of urn
- Choice of flowers (Decorations, wreath or hand bouquets)
- Formulation of the ceremony, hymns, songs and any soloists)
- Printed programme
- Reception (location and choice of refreshments)
- Grave
- Gravestone and inscription if necessary
- Planning for probate if necessary
